      We have a small gland in our body called the adrenal gland. This gland produces hormones that are essential for our body, especially the stress hormone cortisol. The stress and hard work of modern life often make this gland tired. We can call this condition Adrenal fatigue.

      Adrenal fatigue causes various problems in the body, such as feeling very tired, sleeping problems, feeling overwhelmed, etc. Therefore, it is very important to know about this and eat the right foods.

      What is adrenal fatigue?

      Adrenal fatigue is a condition where a small gland in our body, called the adrenal gland, cannot function properly due to prolonged stress and fatigue. This gland produces the stress hormone cortisol in our body, which helps us cope with various stresses starting from the beginning of our day. When this gland becomes weak due to excessive stress, the body cannot produce hormones properly, resulting in various physical and mental problems. So, adrenal fatigue is a type of fatigue and weakness in the body due to long-term stress that affects our normal lifestyle.

      Location and function of the adrenal glands

      The adrenal glands are two small but important glands in the body, which are located just above the kidneys, like a cap. They have a special function to produce hormones in our body. The adrenal glands mainly produce hormones called cortisol, adrenaline and aldosterone. These hormones help the body cope with stress, control blood pressure, and maintain the balance of water and salt in the body. Therefore, the adrenal glands act as a kind of ‘stress manager’ for our lives, which quickly responds to our danger and prepares the body.
